Google Chrome Shutting Down Mac
I have an 11 inch macbook Air with OSX Yosemite 10.10.3. I was on google chrome and I exited out, but when I tried to force quit it it would not force quit, it just stayed in my options to force quit. Everytime I try to restart my computer it won't because it says Google chrome failed to force quit. Google chrome won't reopen either. i let my computer sit for about ten hours but still no luck. What can I do?
Google Chrome Shutting Down Mac Computer
Also my computer had been shut down for about a month (I needed a new charger) and I just started it back up and began using it again about a week ago if this helps.

Google Play Shutting Down
Chrome may shut down immediately when the extension freezes. Thus, it is better to quit extensions you do not use for a while by removing ticks in the Settings. Go to the main browser’s menu – the “hamburger” icon of three horizontal lines up there in the corner. Same problem here! I've just turn on my Mac (Mojave 10.14.6) and Chrome've closed itself without any interaction. Then I've opened it again and it've opened with the default pages (I expect that restore the lastest pages).
Why Is Google Chrome Crashing On My Mac
- It's possible that either your antivirus software or unwanted malware is preventing Chrome from opening. To fix, check if Chrome was blocked by antivirus or other software on your computer.
- Try this somehow Windows disabled Chrome and will not let you open it even if you re-install a fresh copy. As soon as you remove chrome from the process menu chrome should work again. Windows Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Click Task manager. Under ‘Processes’, look for ‘Google Chrome’ or ‘chrome.exe’. Click it, then click End process.
- Google Chrome shuts down when my MacBook Air goes to sleep. It sounds like your Mac is set to automatically log you out after a period of inactivity.
